Are you worried about the air you breathe at home or at work? Poor indoor air quality can harm your health, your comfort, and even your property, especially here in Magnolia, where humidity makes mold and allergens thrive. Tiny particles like mold spores, dust, and chemicals can linger in the air and quietly cause problems for you and your family.
Getting answers quickly is the best way to protect yourself and your space. At Neptune Mold Solutions, we offer a trusted indoor air quality service in Magnolia, TX, designed to find and address the risks hiding in your air.
What Is Indoor Air Quality Testing?
Indoor air quality testing in Magnolia, TX, checks your air for mold, allergens, radon, chemicals, and other invisible pollutants. This isn’t something you should try to figure out on your own. It requires a licensed indoor air quality tester in Magnolia, TX. Our experts collect air and surface samples throughout your property, then send them to a certified lab to analyze what’s really in your air.
What Does an Air Quality Test Detect?
Our Air Quality tests measure three main categories of indoor pollutants:
- Biological Pollutants
- Chemical Pollutants or VOC’s (volatile organic compounds)
- Combustion Pollutants
Airborne Biological Contaminants
These come from living things, like mold, bacteria, viruses, pet dander, and dust mites. Even if you don’t have pets, these particles can still make their way into your home or office through clothes, visitors, or outdoor air.
Chemical Pollutants (VOCs)
These are harmful fumes from cleaning products, furniture, carpets, and building materials. Over time, these chemicals can seep into the air and affect your health.
Combustion Pollutants
These come from anything that burns fuel, like wood, gas, or charcoal. Carbon monoxide, secondhand smoke, and radon fall into this category, and at high levels, they can be very dangerous.

1. Poor Ventilation
When air doesn’t move freely, dust, moisture, and stale air get trapped indoors. Over time, this can make your home uncomfortable, create unpleasant smells, and even make breathing harder for people with allergies or asthma. How we help: Our air quality testing identifies where airflow is lacking so you know exactly what areas need improvement.
2. Indoor Pollutants
Everyday items such as cleaning sprays, scented candles, or tobacco smoke release chemicals into the air. These pollutants don’t just disappear — they hang around inside and can cause headaches, allergies, and other long-term health concerns. How we help: We test for a wide range of common indoor contaminants so you know what’s in your air and what steps to take next.
3. Mold and Mildew
Moisture and humidity are the perfect recipe for mold growth. Once mold spores circulate through the air, they can worsen asthma, spark allergy symptoms, and affect your family’s well-being. How we help: Our testing uncovers hidden mold spores and moisture problems, giving you clear answers before the situation escalates.
Signs You Need To Get Tested
If you notice any of these warning signs, it’s time to call Neptune Mold Solutions:
Musty Odors
Persistent odors that linger even after deep cleaning the suspected area. This is one of the first indications of the presence of a hidden indoor pollutant.
Respitory Issues
Symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, worsening asthma, or allergies might indicate the presence of indoor pollutants. Mold spores, dust mites, pet dander, and VOCs are common culprits contributing to these respiratory symptoms.
Flooding History
If your property has experienced recent water damage, leaks, or flooding, it significantly increases the risk of mold growth and other indoor pollutants. Even after repairs, moisture trapped in walls or under flooring can lead to mold and bacterial growth if removed incorrectly.
Unusual Allergic Reactions
Persistent allergy symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, or skin irritation while indoors might indicate the presence of allergens like pollen, dust mites, or pet dander circulating in the air.
Visible Mold or Mildew
If you see visible mold growth on surfaces like walls, ceilings, or around vents, call a professional mold inspector immediately. Mold can release spores into the air, potentially causing health issues and structural damage if left unchecked. Visible mold growth will certainly pollute your indoor space.
If you’re asking yourself, “Could my air be making me sick?”, let our team help you find out.

Our Air Quality tests measure three main categories of indoor pollutants:
Our Indoor Air Quality Service Process
1. Initial Consultation
We will conduct an initial assessment of your property, discussing any concerns or symptoms you've noticed regarding indoor air quality. Our consultant will evaluate the property's history, potential sources of indoor pollutants, and areas of concern.
2. Testing Strategy
Based on the assessment, our consultant will develop a sampling plan tailored to your property's specific needs. This plan outlines the locations and methods for air sample collection, considering areas prone to moisture, suspected mold growth, or high-traffic zones.
3. Moisture & Humidity Measurements
Utilizing moisture meters and hygrometers, our consultant may assess moisture levels in walls, ceilings, floors, or other areas prone to water intrusion or high humidity.
4. Air Sample Collection
Using specialized equipment such as air pumps, air sampling cassettes, or spore traps, the consultant will collect air samples from different areas of your home or business. Different sampling techniques can be used, such as spot sampling (a single-time sample) or cumulative sampling (ongoing sampling throughout a defined duration).
5. Laboratory Analysis
Collected air and surface samples are carefully labeled and sent to certified laboratories for analysis. These samples are carefully examined to identify specific pollutants, their concentrations, and potential health risks associated with them.

6. Detailed Report
Neptune Mold Solutions compiles a detailed report outlining the findings after receiving the results, including concentration levels of identified pollutants and potential health risks. The report also includes personalized recommendations and strategies to address the identified issues, which may involve mold remediation, improving ventilation, or using air purification systems.

Kris and Neptune Mold Solutions should be your go to contact for any mold concerns or inspection requirements. Kris is very knowledgeable, professional and high integrity. One week before scheduled closing our buyer requested attic mold remediation be completed as a condition of closing. Kris sorted through buyer's inspection report to isolate the real mold issues, completed his inspection and sampling and issued his mold assessment report and protocol for required remediation the next day. He also recommended a highly qualified remediation team that was able to complete the work in one day allowing Kris to do final testing/sampling and complete the clearance inspection and provide all necessary reporting and certifications to satisfy buyer's request for closing. Kris was instrumental in coordinating with the contractor in getting the required remediation and testing done within a very tight timeline. Without Kris and his dedication and expertise we would have not made the required closing deadline. With something as serious and complicated as mold you want Kris and Neptune Mold Solutions on your side. I highly recommend them.Posted on Google![]()

Kristina and Kris are amazing! From my first phone call with them, they went above and beyond. They took time to explain what to expect, what they were going to do, and next steps. They answered my texts and calls almost immediately. They came to two mold inspections and provided the reports very timely. They also had a call with me after the first report to help me understand what I should do, what all I needed to get rid of, and how to clean items I could keep. Will be using them in the future. Highly recommend!Posted on Google![]()

Chris just left my house. I could not have been happier with the experience. He showed up when promised, was professional and friendly, was thorough enough not only to identify the mold but to do quite a bit of sleuthing to find the origin of the problem, gave me a good deal based on the work he did (good value), and I'm looking forward to his protocol report. He made sure I understood the source of the problem and how to fix it. He was even friendly to my dog. Good guy and clearly competent, knows what he's talking about. His wife Kristina runs the office and is really quick/responsive. I would recommend Neptune strongly.Posted on Google![]()

Neptune Mold Solutions (NMS) did an excellent job of helping us deal with a mold issue at our rental property. The potential mold was caused by an inadvertent small water leak in a bathroom when the house was vacant. The NMS was very prompt in coming for a site visit, taking air samples, getting the analysis done and providing a detailed report. They also prepared a detailed protocol report as a hand-off to the remediation company. After the remediation work was done, they were equally prompt to do the follow up analysis and provide a clean bill of health. All the work was done completely seamlessly and they kept us informed of the progress along the way. And always willing to answer any questions we had. A true joy to work with you Chris and Kristina and we wish you the very best.Posted on Google![]()
