Chris has been extremely helpful throughout the entire mold inspection process. The actual inspection was very thorough, and he explained everything as he went along. Despite the lab being busy this time of year, the results came back fast and he made sure to update us when he received them. The written report was extremely in depth, and did not miss any details. He was also available to answer questions we had after receiving the report. I would highly recommend Chris and NMS!

Outstanding experience with the Neptune Mold Solutions team, from start to finish. They were able to come out quickly and were incredibly courteous and professional during the inspection, and even stopped to show some love to our eager golden retriever that was so keenly interested in their presence. More than anything, appreciate how prompt, frank, and honest Chris was with a few of the follow-up questions I had for him after reviewing the results. Would definitely recommend NMS to anyone needing a service like theirs.

Professional Indoor Air Quality Service in Magnolia, TX

Are you worried about the air you breathe at home or at work? Poor indoor air quality can harm your health, your comfort, and even your property, especially here in Magnolia, where humidity makes mold and allergens thrive. Tiny particles like mold spores, dust, and chemicals can linger in the air and quietly cause problems for you and your family.

Getting answers quickly is the best way to protect yourself and your space. At Neptune Mold Solutions, we offer a trusted indoor air quality service in Magnolia, TX, designed to find and address the risks hiding in your air.

What Is Air Quality Testing?

Indoor air quality testing in Magnolia, TX, checks your air for mold, allergens, radon, chemicals, and other invisible pollutants. This isn’t something you should try to figure out on your own.

It requires a licensed indoor air quality tester in Magnolia, TX. Our experts collect air and surface samples throughout your property, then send them to a certified lab to analyze what’s really in your air.

What Does an Air Quality Test Detect?

Our professional air quality testing in Magnolia, TX, looks for three main types of indoor pollutants:

  • Biological Pollutants
  • Chemical Pollutants or VOC’s (volatile organic compounds)
  • Combustion Pollutants

Airborne Biological Contaminants

These come from living things, like mold, bacteria, viruses, pet dander, and dust mites. Even if you don’t have pets, these particles can still make their way into your home or office through clothes, visitors, or outdoor air.

Chemical Pollutants or VOC's

These are harmful fumes from cleaning products, furniture, carpets, and building materials. Over time, these chemicals can seep into the air and affect your health.

Combustion Pollutants

These come from anything that burns fuel, like wood, gas, or charcoal. Carbon monoxide, secondhand smoke, and radon fall into this category, and at high levels, they can be very dangerous.

When to Schedule Indoor Air Quality Testing in Magnolia, TX

If you notice any of these warning signs, it’s time to call Neptune Mold Solutions:

  • Musty Odors: Lingering smells, even after cleaning, often mean there’s something hidden polluting your air.
  • Breathing Problems: Coughing, wheezing, asthma flare-ups, and allergies can signal poor air quality.
  • Water Damage: Past leaks or flooding often leave behind hidden mold that grows in walls or floors.
  • Allergy Symptoms Indoors: Sneezing, itchy eyes, or rashes inside your home or office? Allergens might be to blame.
  • Visible Mold or Mildew: If you can see mold on walls, ceilings, or vents, call us immediately before it spreads further.

If you’re asking yourself, “Could my air be making me sick?”, let our team help you find out.

Signs You Need to Get Tested?

Consider scheduling an inspection with Neptune Mold Solutions If you experience any of the following:

Musty Odors

Persistent odors that linger even after deep cleaning the suspected area. This is one of the first indications of the presence of a hidden indoor pollutant.

Symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, worsening asthma, or allergies might indicate the presence of indoor pollutants. Mold spores, dust mites, pet dander, and VOCs are common culprits contributing to these respiratory symptoms.

If your property has experienced recent water damage, leaks, or flooding, it significantly increases the risk of mold growth and other indoor pollutants. Even after repairs, moisture trapped in walls or under flooring can lead to mold and bacterial growth if removed incorrectly.

Persistent allergy symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, or skin irritation while indoors might indicate the presence of allergens like pollen, dust mites, or pet dander circulating in the air.

If you see visible mold growth on surfaces like walls, ceilings, or around vents, call a professional mold inspector immediately. Mold can release spores into the air, potentially causing health issues and structural damage if left unchecked. Visible mold growth will certainly pollute your indoor space.

Our Indoor Air Quality Testing Process

1. Initial Consultation

Our process begins with a thorough conversation about your property and any indoor air quality concerns you may have noticed. This may include odors, visible issues, or health symptoms experienced by occupants. During this stage, our consultant reviews the building’s history, recent water events, ventilation setup, and any conditions that could contribute to indoor air pollutants. This helps us understand the full picture before testing begins.

2. Testing Strategy

After the consultation, we create a customized testing plan designed specifically for your property. The strategy identifies where samples should be taken and which testing methods will provide the most accurate results. Special attention is given to moisture-prone areas, locations with suspected mold activity, and frequently used spaces where air quality concerns are most likely to impact occupants.

3. Moisture & Humidity Measurements

To better understand environmental conditions, our consultant may measure moisture and humidity levels throughout the property. Using professional-grade moisture meters and hygrometers, we check surfaces such as walls, floors, ceilings, and other areas vulnerable to excess moisture. These readings help pinpoint conditions that may support mold growth or poor air quality.

4. Air Sample Collection

Air samples are collected using specialized equipment such as calibrated air pumps and spore traps. Samples may be taken from multiple areas within the home or commercial space to ensure an accurate representation of indoor air conditions. Depending on the situation, we may use short-term spot sampling or extended sampling methods to capture airborne contaminants over a set period.

5. Laboratory Analysis

Once collected, all samples are properly documented and sent to accredited laboratories for professional analysis. The laboratory evaluates each sample to identify airborne particles, mold spores, or other contaminants, along with their concentration levels. This step ensures objective, science-based results you can rely on.

6. Detailed Report

After the lab results are returned, Neptune Mold Solutions prepares a comprehensive report explaining the findings in clear, easy-to-understand terms. The report outlines identified contaminants, their concentration levels, and any potential health concerns. You’ll also receive tailored recommendations to help improve indoor air quality, which may include next steps such as remediation guidance, ventilation improvements, or air filtration solutions.

How Much Does Indoor Air Quality Testing in Magnolia, TX Cost?

Costs can vary depending on the size of your property and the number of samples needed. Most tests start around $200–$500 for a standard inspection. Larger properties or more extensive testing may cost more.

Kris and Neptune Mold Solutions should be your go to contact for any mold concerns or inspection requirements. Kris is very knowledgeable, professional and high integrity. One week before scheduled closing our buyer requested attic mold remediation be completed as a condition of closing. Kris sorted through buyer's inspection report to isolate the real mold issues, completed his inspection and sampling and issued his mold assessment report and protocol for required remediation the next day. He also recommended a highly qualified remediation team that was able to complete the work in one day allowing Kris to do final testing/sampling and complete the clearance inspection and provide all necessary reporting and certifications to satisfy buyer's request for closing. Kris was instrumental in coordinating with the contractor in getting the required remediation and testing done within a very tight timeline. Without Kris and his dedication and expertise we would have not made the required closing deadline. With something as serious and complicated as mold you want Kris and Neptune Mold Solutions on your side. I highly recommend them.

Kristina and Kris are amazing! From my first phone call with them, they went above and beyond. They took time to explain what to expect, what they were going to do, and next steps. They answered my texts and calls almost immediately. They came to two mold inspections and provided the reports very timely. They also had a call with me after the first report to help me understand what I should do, what all I needed to get rid of, and how to clean items I could keep. Will be using them in the future. Highly recommend!

Chris just left my house. I could not have been happier with the experience. He showed up when promised, was professional and friendly, was thorough enough not only to identify the mold but to do quite a bit of sleuthing to find the origin of the problem, gave me a good deal based on the work he did (good value), and I'm looking forward to his protocol report. He made sure I understood the source of the problem and how to fix it. He was even friendly to my dog. Good guy and clearly competent, knows what he's talking about. His wife Kristina runs the office and is really quick/responsive. I would recommend Neptune strongly.

Neptune Mold Solutions (NMS) did an excellent job of helping us deal with a mold issue at our rental property. The potential mold was caused by an inadvertent small water leak in a bathroom when the house was vacant. The NMS was very prompt in coming for a site visit, taking air samples, getting the analysis done and providing a detailed report. They also prepared a detailed protocol report as a hand-off to the remediation company. After the remediation work was done, they were equally prompt to do the follow up analysis and provide a clean bill of health. All the work was done completely seamlessly and they kept us informed of the progress along the way. And always willing to answer any questions we had. A true joy to work with you Chris and Kristina and we wish you the very best.
